Editor V

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Vladislav Briker: what the licence gives you, what it costs, and what happens to your code.

Last updated 31 August 2026

The short version

You pay $29 a month for a licence to use Editor V on your own computer. Your code stays yours — we claim no rights over anything you make with it. You can cancel any time, and you can have your money back within 14 days. Do not resell the app or try to defeat its licensing, and we will not do anything surprising with your account.

1. Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Vladislav Briker, a licensed sole trader in Israel registered as Rebel Media (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using Editor V you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. What we give you

A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Editor V on computers you own or control, for as long as your account is in good standing. The software is licensed, not sold. We keep ownership of the app itself and everything in it.

3. What stays yours

Everything you make. Editor V edits files on your own machine. We claim no ownership of, and no licence over, your source code, your projects or anything you build with the app. We do not receive copies of them. Nothing in this agreement gives us any right to your work.

4. What you may not do

  • Resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app
  • Share your account so that people who have not paid can use the app
  • Work around, disable or tamper with sign-in, licensing or subscription checks
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law says you may despite this clause
  • Remove our branding, or present the app as your own product

5. Your account

You need an account to use Editor V. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, give us an email address you actually read, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. One account is for one person.

6. Free plan and paid plan

The free plan lets you use Editor V on as many projects as you like, and apply up to 25 changes to your source files each calendar month, of which up to 10 may be undone with one-click rollback. It does not expire. When you reach either limit, everything else keeps working — you can still open projects, edit, inspect and preview — but writing further changes to disk needs a paid plan or the start of the next month.

Your backups are never limited.Editor V writes a backup of every file before it changes it, on every plan and however many rollbacks you have left. Those backups stay inside your own project folder and remain yours to restore by hand at any time. The monthly figure limits the app’s one-click rollback, not your ability to recover your files.

The paid plan, sold as Pro, is $29 per month and removes both limits. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.

We may change what the free plan includes. If we reduce it, existing accounts keep what they have for at least 30 days after we tell them.

7. Payment

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. They are the seller on your invoice and their terms also apply to the transaction. Prices are in USD and exclude any tax that Paddle is required to add for your country.

8. Cancelling, refunds and price changes

You can cancel at any time from inside the app or from the link on your receipt. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not cut you off early.

Refunds are covered on the refund policy page: 14 days, no questions asked.

If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms — sharing a licence, defeating the subscription checks, or using the app unlawfully. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part.

10. The app comes as it is

Editor V writes to files you already have. Every change is previewed before it is applied, every applied change is backed up first, and every write is parsed and checked before it replaces a file. No software is perfect, and code you value should be under version control regardless of what tools you point at it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limits on what we owe you

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with Editor V is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, or fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those away.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and the courts of Israel have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country.
